Obituary

Clint Freeman, 52, of Charlotte, died on Saturday, March 1, 2025. He was born on January 20, 1973, in Minden, LA, to Byrette (Morgan) Hawkins, and the late Maulen Hawkins. He was of the Christian faith. Clint loved to cook on the grill, read, watch MMA, and listen to music, especially heavy Rock N' Roll. Clint enjoyed working in the HVAC business. For the last 11 years he has worked at Sullivan Heating and Air and considered everyone he worked with there like family. But more than anything, Clint loved his family. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. Clint especially adored his mother, Byrette, and cherished his nieces and nephews. He loved spending time with them pouring love and attention into their lives. He will be dearly missed and forever loved by everyone who was blessed to know him.

Clint is preceded in death by his father, Maulen Hawkins; his sister, Theresa Morris; his brother, Gordon Morgan; and his nieces, Candace Watson and Alisha Morgan. He is survived by his mother, Byrette Hawkins, his two brothers, Johnny Freeman and Jimmy Freeman (Patricia); his two sisters, Kay Harris (David) and Jessica Hudson (Herbert); and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
