Obituary

Charles "Charlie" Jameson left this world on February 7th 2017 and stepped into glory. Charles was born April 25th 1930 in Watonga, Oklahoma where he lived a beautiful childhood with his mother, father, sister and brother, in the fall of 1948 Charles entered the Baptist seminary in Little Rock, AR where he went on from there to pastor many churches in Arkansas and California. Charles loved the Lord and loved his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, a brother and an infant sister, two grandsons, Gary Jameson Jr and Wayne Morse along with many other friends and relatives who were waiting in Glory for him. He leaves behind his wife and love of his life Mrs. Lillie Jameson, his sister Irene Brown of Oklahoma, two daughters, Gail Rose of Stockton, CA, Rhonda Morse of Saffell, AR and two sons Gary Jameson of California and Patrick Jameson of California, two step-sons Rick Reynolds of Cabot AR, Lemar Reynolds of Conway AR and a step daughter Judy Scroggins of Little Rock AR along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Charles was Mayor of Concord for two terms and he dearly loved his community and neighbors. Charles loved visiting, going to church, going out to eat and anything else that involved being around people. Charles and Mrs. Lillie lived a true love story, they enjoyed holding hands and watching TV together or studying their Bibles together. Charles will be greatly missed by so many people. The family would like to say a special thank you to Cindy McClurg, Charlie's home health aide from Approve Home Health, they were buddies for the past year and her love and care for him was so appreciated. Thank you to the staff on 3rd floor at WRMC for the wonderful care and thank you to Caring Hands Hospice. Visitation will be Friday, February 10th, 2017 from 12 PM - 2 PM with the funeral service beginning at 2 PM both at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery of Banner. Pallbearers include: Steve Ragsdale, James Ford, Grant Ford, Chris Price, Mike Luckfield, and John Stone. Alternate Scott Morse. Honorary Pallbearers include: Gary Sharp, W.T Altom, Bob Sharp, and Jon Sharp
