Charles Roland Ballard, 79, passed away January 2, 2016 in a Batesville Nursing Home. He was born in Strawberry Arkansas to Harrison Ballard and Dean (Green) Ballard. He was of the Nazarene belief. He enjoyed attending auctions, going fishing, time spent with his family, and loved watching the Razorbacks play ball. He was preceded in death by his parents Harrison and Dean Ballard; his wife Ruth Ballard; one daughter Melissa Ballard; one step-son Bobby Prickett Sr.; two sisters Syble Reding and Daphine Anderson; and three brothers: Bruce Ballard, John Ballard, and Phillip Ballard. He is survived by two brothers, Paul Ballard of Missouri, and Monford Ballard of Indiana; two step-daughters, Teresa Staggs and her husband Steve of Cave City, AR and Debra Keeling and her husband Mike of Kingsport, TN; a daughter in law, Cheryl Good; eight grandchildren: Michael Prickett of Conway, AR, Bobby Prickett Jr. (Bubba) and his wife Laura of Searcy, AR, Jason Prickett and his wife Stephanie of Searcy, AR, Tyler Staggs of Cave City, AR; Amanda Camden of Centerton, AR; April Schubert and her husband Dave of Longview, TX; Heather Keeling of Kingsport, TN; and Courtney Jones of Yellville, AR; nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
