Charleen Thomas, age 92, of Charlotte died Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the home of her daughter on the family farm.

Born on November 24, 1926, in South Bend, IN, she was the daughter of Luther and Carolyn Fife.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris and Lois, and her husband of 50 years, Forrest (Red) Thomas. Survivors include sisters Sandy Bedsole and Sharon Kettner, and brother Dee Fife:  daughters Cheryl Haskin, Joyce Williams, and Hue Donahue and son Trieu Bui. She is also survived by grandchildren Thomas and Tony Huynh, Jen Serfass, and Theron and Gareth Haskin. Great grandchildren are Kaedyn Grunewald and Copeland Huynh; Eden, Maxwell, and Luke Serfass; and Emmett Haskin. And also many others who called her "Mom" or "Grandma".

Her interests in life included family; playing the piano; quilting; teaching Sunday School and Bible Study.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association.

Memorial Celebration of Life will be at the family home on the farm at Charlotte on September 28 at 2 pm.
