Reflections of Life
Cassondra Parrott-Sherrill, in her 64th season of life, of Batesville, Arkansas received her wings on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. She was born October 4, 1954 in Newport, Arkansas to Edward Parrott and Anna Louise (Montjoy) Parrott.
Cassondra was a graduate of Tuckerman High School and attended Lyon College, in Batesville, Arkansas. Cassondra was an employee and manager with more than 30 years of service with the State of Arkansas Department of Workforce Services in Newport, Arkansas. Cassondra was a member of St. Mary Chapter #410, who loved shopping at the local Dollar Store.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Anna Louise (Montjoy) Parrott, five brothers: Bennie, Verne, Edward Jr., Jimmy, and Perry Parrott, two sisters: Ermaneal Bailey and Mildred Seawood, a grandson: Dustin Watkins, and a great-grandaughter: Aryia Sutherland
Cherishing her memories are her daughter Nichole Sherrill-Henson, son Zachary Sherrill both of Batesville, Arkansas, two stepdaughters: April (Antonio) Sherrill-Buirse, LR, Arkansas, Karen Bailey of Detroit, Michigan, two stepsons: Harlan (Freda) Sanders of Batesville, Arkansas, Torrey Ranucci of Sun City, Arizona, four brothers: Arthur, Larry, Ronald, and Donald Parrott six sisters: Velda Robinson, Ruth Alma Moten, Dorothy West, Lisa Turner, Carolyn Williams, and Shirley Henry. Cassondra was the amazing granny of Cassondra Sherrill-Reynolds, Matthew Henson, Justin Watkins, Sedria Sutherland, Fredricka Tabor, Johnathan Sanders, Kenzie and Jada Sherrill, and Gracelyn Bui, a proud great granny of Zaylie and Jordan Poe, Adriana Tabor, Bently, Denhym and Chayce Sutherland, and a special friend of Ruby Battles and Melissa Graham. A host of nieces, nephews, extended families and friends.
Visitation will be held at Willis Funeral Service, Friday February 15, 2019 from 5PM-7PM.
Service will be at God's House of Prayer in Newport, AR Saturday February 16, 2019 at 11AM
