Caroline Maxine Barris, 41, of Batesville entered into rest on Saturday, November 14, 2020. Caroline was born on April 2, 1979, in Batesville, AR. She was a faithful woman that was full of life and love. She served the Lord Jesus Christ in life as well as a member of New St. John's Missionary Baptist Church in Jonesboro, AR by way of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Batesville. From an early age, Caroline had a passion for singing. She used her gift as a way to bring joy into people's lives by singing in the church choir. She was always in a good mood, laughing and telling jokes with a smile on her face.

Caroline is preceded in death by her mother, Cathy Ann Barris; her grandparents, Stanly and Ruth Barris; and her grandfather, Thurl Max Davidson. She is survived by her son, Dawin Barris; her daughters, Kalia Barris Justice and Amari Barris Everett; her father, Glen Barris Sr; her brothers, Glen Barris Jr. and Dustin Billingsley; her sisters, Miranda Barris, Tabatha Camden, and Lamiesha King; many nieces and nephews, and a host of treasured friends and acquaintances.

There will be a 2 PM Memorial Service on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at New St John Missionary Baptist Church in Jonesboro, AR.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to New St John Missionary Baptist Church in Jonesboro, AR located at 310 N Main St.   All CDC guidelines for Covid-19 will be in place and a mask must be worn at all times.

There will be a Graveside Service at Oaklawn Cemetery on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 2PM.
