Carole Ann Garlin, 76, of Batesville passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016. She was born August 20, 1940 to Martin Eugene O'Connor and Vivian (Rose) O'Connor in Denver, Colorado. She attended the Newark Church of Christ. She liked to do needle work, and faithfully worked for the Independence County Senior Citizens Center selling BBQ tickets. She was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Vivian O'Connor and her son Bruce. She is survived by her daughter Evelyn Adams; one brother; and four sisters; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. Funeral services will be Monday September 12th at 10:00 AM at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at the Sulphur Rock Cemetery.
