Carol Ann Holcombe King, 71, of Sulphur Rock passed away May 25, 2016. She was born January 13, 1945 to Jason Holcombe and Alta (Marshall) Holcombe. She was a retired employee of the State of Arkansas and served as a Juvenile Court Coordinator for several years. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and listening to gospel music. She liked to read and loved to cook. Most of all she enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Jason Holcombe and Alta (Marshall) Holcombe; her brother Kenneth Holcombe; and her sister Betty Bullington. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Herb King; two sons: Randall King and his wife Lisa of Jonesboro and Greg King and his wife Laura of Tuckerman; one daughter Carrie Ford of Sulphur Rock; eight grandchildren: Tyler King, Krista King, Shanda King, Austin Ford, Quinn Ford, Audrey Ford, Jesse King, and Jake King; three step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be Thursday May 26th, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Funeral service will be Friday May 27th, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Charles Bullington and Bro. Jimmy Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at the Holcombe Cemetery of Sulphur Rock Pallbearers include: Tyler King, Austin Ford, Quinn Ford, Brian Langston, Brad Langston, and Rodney Henderson Memorials may be made in Mrs. Carol's name to John 3:16 Ministries.
