Carol JoAnn Franks 71, passed away on Tuesday Jan. 1, 2019. She was born on October 5, 1947 in Cabool, Mo. to John Jasper and Barbara Ann (Linheart) Bates. Carol was one to crochet and to do arts and crafts. loved to play board games and one of her favorites was "Yatzee". Her most precious love was her family and she will be missed by them and her friends. She was preceded in death by her dad, John; husband, Roy Michael Franks; brothers, John Jr. and William Bates; grandson, Josh Garrison. She is survived by her mother, Barbara; daughter, Michelle Malloy (Michael); son, Wilford Roy (Bear) Franks (Treasa); grandchildren, Kari Lewis, Bodee Crock, Kelsey Crock, Shenia Tilley, Lynette Hanson, Amber Ginn; great- grandchildren, 8. There will be a celebration of life on Sat. Jan. 12, 2019 10 a.m. at the Cushman Assembly of God in Cushman, Ar. Officiating will be Carl Blankenship. Prayers to the family and God bless.
