Candace Paige Sanders, 32, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024, in Batesville, AR. She was born in Batesville, AR on September 25, 1991. Candace attended Batesville High School where she played volleyball and ran track. She won the spirit stick many times at pep rallies. She enjoyed going to the lake and creek, hanging out with her friends at bonfires, and riding bulls at the Charlotte rodeo. Candace was very energetic, funny, and always willing to help others. She was a pleasant person to be around and often described as the life of the party. She will be greatly missed by all those blessed to know her.

Candace is survived by her mother, Debra Pruitt; daughter, Jayda Sanders; brothers, Joseph Melton and Michael Melton; Papa, Cecil Ruminer; aunt, Brenda Richardson (Darrell); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Guy Pruitt; grandparents, Carl Gipson, Ethel Cameron, and Beth Gipson; and uncles, Ronald Cameron and Don Starks.
