Bonnie Jean Nicklen, 89, passed away on July 3, 2022. She was born on November 11, 1932, in Mammoth Spring, AR to the late Joe and Dorothy "Smith" Hobbs.

Bonnie was the strength of her family and had a heart as big as Arkansas. In her free time, she loved cooking for her family and would cook a big meal every Thanksgiving, sewing, and spending time with her family.

Bonnie is survived by her brothers, Ted and Douglas Hobbs; sister, Naomi Mickinne; grandchildren, Gene Emmerich and Ladonna Bryant; great-grandchildren, Britney McCart, Brandon Emmerich, Codi Bryant, and Colton Bryant; seven great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene Leroy Nicklen; daughter, Donna Joe Hobbs; sister, Jackie Marilyn; and brother, JD Hobbs.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 10 AM at the First Church located at 240 White Drive in Batesville, AR. All friends and family are welcome.
