Billy Dean Hoyt, 79, of Cushman, departed this life on January 25, 2022. He was born on October 11, 1942, in Blytheville, AR.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda (Sturch) Hoyt; daughters, Tamara Hinson and Briana Perkinson; grandchildren, Cyndahl Hoyt and her partner Steven of Batesville, Jehrek Travis and wife Amanda of Cushman, Danaa (Hoyt) Allen of Sulphur Rock, and Crystal Martin of Sulphur Rock; great-grandchildren, Ayden, Jayce, Blaise, Serenity, Blayne, Kyler, and Lilyan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Myrle Hoyt and Hazel Davis Hoyt, and great-grandchild, Cayden Martin.

He loved to hunt, fish, and restore old cars. He was a master of making pool cues and a creative gunsmith. Anything he could imagine; he could make with his hands. He loved his family very much and would do anything and everything he could to help and be there for them.

A graveside memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
