Billy Ray Gray Sr., 86, passed away Friday, December 29th, 2017. He was born April 1st, 1931 in Sidney, Arkansas. He was a Christian believer of the Baptist faith. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the time of Korea. He was a truck driver for Wal-Mart. He was preceded in death by his parents, E.E. Gray and Opal (Marlin) Gray; one daughter, Rose Marie Moser; three brothers, Charles Gray, Ronald Gray, and infant Donald Gray; and one sister, Joann Hicks. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lupe Gray; two sons, Billy Gray Jr. "Buddy", and Bobby Joe Gray and his wife Patty; one daughter, Cynthia Gail Wallace and her husband, Dwight; one brother, Johnny Gray of Florida; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of extended relatives and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 2nd from 10-11 AM with the funeral service beginning at 11 AM both at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Joe Insell officiating. Burial will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery of Batesville. Pallbearers include, Tony Gray, Brandon Moser, Walter Gray, Luke Wallace, Marshall Gray, and Rondal Moser. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Mr. Billy to the American Heart Association.
