Billie "Bill" Landon Cullum, 86, passed away on October 20, 2023. He was born in Higden, Arkansas, on December 25, 1936, to Doc and M.E. Cullum.
Bill was very outgoing and hardworking. He owned Cullum Auto Parts store and worked for Crow-Burlingame for over 44 years. Bill was known all over town for his expertise in part supplies. He also took pride in working on his farm. Bill's love for playing sports in high school continued as an official of baseball, basketball, and football games all over the country for over 40 years for both high school and college, including bowl and numerous tournament games. Bill was also a proud veteran and served his country in the National Guard. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Doc Cullum and M.E. (Johnson) Cullum; brother, Jess Lee Cullum of Austin, Texas; half-brother, Roy Cullum of Heber Springs, Arkansas; half-sister, Pat Nieland of Portland, Oregan; nephew, David Cullum of Houston, Texas; as well as many aunts, cousins, and uncle. He is survived by his loving wife, Darnell Cullum of Newark, Arkansas; son, Daniel Cullum of Batesville, Arkansas; daughter, Cindy Kallsnick (Scott) of Batesville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Kyle Kallsnick (Jordan) of Batesville, Arkansas, and Kaylea Milum (Chris) of Batesville, Arkansas; great-grandchildren, Olivia Milum, Luke Milum, and Konnor Kallsnick; and nephews, Roy Cullum of Houston, Texas, and Billy Joe Cullum of Houston, Texas.
A visitation will be held at Willis Funeral Service on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Bro. Jeff Childers, will follow the visitation at Hopewell Cemetery in Cord, Arkansas, at 2 p.m.
