Billie Sue Gordon, 76, of Batesville, Arkansas, was called home to join her Lord & Savior on October 4, 2021. In that precious moment, she was reunited with her parents, husband, and son, Wesley Michael Gordon. She was born on August 15, 1945, in Harrison, Arkansas to Duward P. and Gladys White Burnside. Sue was married to Gary Wesley Gordon on March 29, 1963, in Cabool, Missouri. After moving to Batesville with her family, she and her husband of 56 years, Gary Gordon, cofounded Riverside Dental Lab in Batesville, Arkansas in 1976 and operated it for 40 years until "retirement" in 2016. Sue also completed real estate school in 1981 where she maintained her license for many years while renovating and managing several properties.

Sue was an avid reader her entire life and loved Christian and faith-based works.  She used her talents and passion for Christian reading to help found and later expand the Wesley Gordon Memorial Library at Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church where she is a member. She also helped to expand the library at West Baptist Church of Batesville, AR during her time as a member there.

Sue's greatest accomplishment in this life was creating a loving Christian home where she helped lead each of her children and grandchildren to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, creating a legacy that now expands into eternity.

Sue had a beautiful heart and spirit that touched and will continue to touch many lives.  Her quick wit, determination, and many successes in life have endeared and inspired everyone that knew her, and that passion lives on in her family today. Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Gary Gordon, as well as their son, Wesley Michael Gordon, and a granddaughter, Kailey Dawn Gordon. Sue is survived by her brother, D.W. Burnside (Helen) of Denver, Colorado, and three children, Valorie (Gordon) & Marcus Jarrett, of Paragould; Patricia (Gordon) & Jim Bass of Fort Smith; and Ricky Gordon & Teresa of Batesville; ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

There will be a visitation Friday, Oct 8th, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Arrangements are by Willis Funeral Service.
