Betty Virginia Roberts, 75, passed away Monday, November 13th, 2017. She was born February 20th, 1942. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed reading. She loved traveling and going on trips. She was a collector of antiques. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.J "Shorty" Branscum and Irene (Osborn) Branscum; her husband, Billy Wayne Roberts; six brothers, Claud Branscum, Richard Branscum, James Branscum, Roy Branscum, Jerry Branscum, and Willie Branscum; and two sisters, Helen Jones and Floy Pearson. She is survived by her son, Dennis Roberts; her grandson, Kruz Roberts; her daughter-in-law, Jillian Roberts; one brother, David Branscum and his wife Nancy; one brother-in-law, Marcus Roberts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 15th from 6-8 PM and the funeral service will be Thursday, November 16th at 10 AM both at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Bryan Branscum, Scotty Branscum, Stephen Branscum, Rick Roberts, Eric Nast, and Brian Brown. Honorary Pallbearers include, Dylan Newman, Matt Branscum, Ryan Branscum, and Richard Matheny. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Betty to the Wounded Warriors Project.
