Betty Jean Taylor, 73, of Batesville passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 in Batesville. She was born December 4, 1939 in Batesville to Roy Pearson and Ruth Floyd Pearson. She worked as a head cashier with Kroger, enjoyed reading and was a member of the West Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Jennifer Taylor and two brothers, Harold Pearson and Wayne Pearson. Survivors include one son, Robert Dewayne Taylor and his wife Teresa Kay of Skiatook, OK; one daughter, Lisa Gaye Taylor of Batesville; two sisters, Norma Campbell of Cushman and Donna Ramey of Batesville; two grandchilderen, Robert BradleyTaylor and Joseph Douglas Scroggins and one great grandchild, Ashlynn Allimarie Scroggins. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 18, 2013 at Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Troy Sharp officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery near Floral. Pallbearers are Marty Campbell, Casey Turner, Rick Ramey, Joseph Scroggins, Woody Pearson, and Robert Bradley Taylor. Visitation will be Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. -7:00 P.M.
