Bessie Lee Brooks, 85, passed away March 17, 2016. She was born October 22, 1930 to Oscar Robinson and Ella Jane (Vaughn) Robinson in Leota Missouri. She was of the Church of Christ faith. She enjoyed working in the garden and her yard, and she enjoyed time spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Ella Jane Robinson; her husband Bill Brooks; five brothers: Otto Robinson, Garland Robinson, Joe Bill Robinson, Jack Robinson, and George Robinson; and a sister Hester Cooper. She is survived by her son Roger Brooks and his wife Sandy; her daughter Becky Brooks; a sister Mary Jane Green; two grandchildren: Samantha Ann Ripper and Jennifer Campbell; and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday March 21st at 1:00 PM followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Billy Brooks and Bro. Don Prantl officiating. Honorary Pallbearers include: Jimmy Glen Brooks, Mike Campbell, Charles Brooks, Leon Brooks, Tim Brooks, John Anthony, Mike Hamilton, and Eric Jackson.
