Barbara Jean Stueland, 69, of Batesville, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday August 27, 2015. She was born December 31, 1945 in Henrietta, Texas to Herbert Newlon and Mildred Johnson Newlon. She lived a quiet life and loved her cat, Baby. Barbara loved puzzles, spending time with her children, grandchildren, friends and great neighbors. Survivors include her son, Bradley Cooper, of Batesville, five daughters, Brenda Siordia of Joshua, Texas, Beverly Dorton of Alvarado, Texas, Bridgett Brower of Mooresville, North Carolina, Becky White and Deana Slater of Batesville, a brother George McGinnis of Washington and a sister Martha Krueger of Vermont, 12 grandchildren and three great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Stueland, her parents and a brother, Frank Harris. Graveside services will be at Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Gainesboro on Monday August 31, 2015 at 10:30 A.M., with Jeff Cox officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Siordia III, Dylan Dorton, Bradley Hunter McCraw, Jeremy Siordia, Jason Cooper and Gavin Brower. Interment will be at Liberty Baptist Cemetery, Gainesboro, Arkansas.
