Augusta Stinnett Campbell, 89 of Batesville passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in Batesville. She was born December 17, 1923 in Harrison to Arthur and Fannie Stinnett. She was a member of the Southside Church of Christ and formerly the McHue County Extension Club. Augusta was preceded in death by her husband, Nelse Campbell; one grandson, Jeremy Johnson; two sisters, Pauline Hill and Bonnie McMillan; and two brothers, Marvin Stinnett and Noah Stinnett. Survivors include one son, Ronald Campbell and his wife Theresa Lanelle of Beebe; one daughter Mary Johnson and her husband Jerry of Conway; two brothers Jeff Stinnett of Jackson, Michigan and J.R. and his wife Madeline Stinnett of Little Rock; two brother-in-laws, Sterling Hill of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Nelson and his wife Tracy McMillan of Wentzville, Missouri; five grandchildren, Missy and her husband Darrell Orvis, Will and his wife Lindsey Campbell, Erica and her husband Tracy Turner, Clint Johnson and Laikan Johnson; and one great grandson, Eli Turner. Services will be Friday, May 31, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Southside Church of Christ with Bob Harris officiating; Interment will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery at Batesville. Pallbearers will be Paul Anderson, Gary Hardin, Jerry Bowen, Clyde Bullard, Butch Minyard and Chip Phillips. Visitation will be Friday, May 31, 2013 from 1 P.M. until service time.
