IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Audra Bedia
(Calhoun) Stott
October 10, 1944 – March 17, 2025
Audra Bedia (Calhoun) Stott, 80, of Southside, entered the gates of Heaven on Monday, March 17, 2025. Audra was born on October 10, 1944, in Texarkana, AR, to the late James Calhoun and Exa (Turnage) Calhoun. Audra was of Christian faith, and she had a passion for serving God that shaped her entire life. She was a minister, and the wife of a minister, having met the love of her life, Dwayne H. Stott, Sr. while she was still a senior attending Fair Park High School in Shreveport, LA. Together they ministered in the name of Jesus for more than 60 years. Audra attended worship at both Southside Assembly of God and Living Waters. She served the Lord in ministry but she also served by fulfilling her God-given role as a wife, mother, and "Nana". Above any hobby she may have had, she was most happy when she was with her family. Audra will be deeply missed and her memory forever cherished by those who were blessed to know and love her.
She is reunited in Heaven with her parents, James and Exa Calhoun; and her brother, FH Calhoun; She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Dwayne H. Stott Sr.; her sons Dwayne H. Stott Jr. (Sherry) and Todd M. Stott (Lauren); her daughters, Vonda Martin (Chris) and Tamra Parks (Scott); her brothers, Jerry Calhoun and Jackie Calhoun (Marcia); her sisters, Joyce McCoy, Sue Hinton (James), and Sharron Mills (Jack); her grandchildren, Lee Stott (Alyssa), Erin McEntire, Cara Moxley (Ryan), Garrett Sutton (Amanda), Jarrod Sutton (Ashley), Brooklyn Sutton, Micky Parks, Erika Farris (Kennie), Scottie Parks (Amy), Boston Stott, and Riley Stott; her 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
