Archie Harvey Sams, 38, of Batesville was called to be with the Lord Saturday March 23, 2019. Archie had many passions in his life, including his HVAC work, being outside fishing and hunting, (when he could set still long enough) however, his greatest passion was his love for his family and friends. Archie is preceded in death by his mother Rose Kay (Flook) Sams, his grandparents, Archie and Dorothy Sams, and John and Ethel Flook. His is survived by his fiancé Hailey Brock, his father Orvid Eugene Sams, his sons Izaiah Sams, Jonathan Sams/Houseman, Dalton Sams, Gavin Sams, and Christopher Brock. His brothers, Tony Sams (Michelle) of Ava Missouri, and Ron Sams (Shannon) of Cave City, AR, his sisters, Janice Palmer (Rod), Amanda Shah (Khalid), and Dorothy Spraggs (David "J.R."), and grandchild Vincent Sams, and many, many friends and relatives. Known affectionately as "Daddy Fat Butt" to some and will be missed by all. Visitation will be Thursday March 28 from 12-2PM with a 2PM Funeral at Willis Funeral Service in Batesville, AR (3513 Harrison St.) with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Cave City, AR.
