Al Raymond Brackett, 85, passed away on July 2, 2023, in Batesville, AR. He was born on October 30, 1937, in Concord, AR to the late Joe Brackett and Maudi (Martin) Brackett. Raymond was of the Christian faith and attended church at Concord Baptist Church. He also drove the church bus in Quitman for quite a while. He enjoyed fishing and traveling. Raymond was a Nighttime floor cleaner at Walmart for many years and loved his job there. Above all else, he loved people, especially his family.

Raymond is survived by his son, Lynn Brackett; daughters, Ann Brackett, Joy Lamb, and Cindy Thacker; and grandchildren, Tiffany Phillips, Billy Ray Phillips, Todd James Phillips, Dillon Brackett, Jewel Brackett, and Melissa Brackett. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen Fay (Christian) Brackett; daughter, Anita Fay Arnold; three sisters; and four brothers.
