Obituary

Agnes Louise (Garland) Lindsey, 97, passed away on February 6, 2026, in Batesville, AR. She was born on September 20, 1928, in Pine Hill, AR, to the late William James Garland and Cindy (Poor) Garland. Agnes was of the Christian faith and attended First Baptist Church of Cave City. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and canning in her free time. She was also an artist who enjoyed painting. Above all else, she loved her family. Agnes was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

Agnes is survived by her daughter, Agnes Kathleen Lindsey; daughters-in -law, Carolyn Lee and Norma Lee; grandchildren, Julie Davison and Donny Hilburn; great-grandchildren, Autumn Fielding and Jacob Fielding; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Lindsey; brothers, Buck Hightower and Thomas Garland; sisters, Cleta Bishop and May Peirce; and sons, Edward Lee, Ronald Lee, Donald Lee, Robert Case, and William Case.

Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service in Batesville, AR.
