A.G. "Joe" Henderson, 78, of Floral passed away Friday, May 23, 2014 in Batesville. He was born September 29, 1935 in Lexington, Oklahoma to A.B. Henderson and Carrie Olson Henderson. He was a mechanic, a heavy equipment operator and a member of the Banner Church of Christ. A.G. enjoyed fishing, gardening and hunting. Survivors include his wife of sixty years, Jewel Henderson of the home; one daughter, Karen Babb of Floral; four grandchildren, Josh Henderson, Michael Henderson, Joey Babb, Danny Babb and four great grandchildren, Sharissa Babb, Addison Henderson, Cody Henderson and Brayden Henderson. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bob Henderson and one son, Barry Henderson. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
