Virginia Bumpous Obituary
Virginia Faye Bumpous, 79, passed away June 8, 2016. She was born April 26, 1937 to Jack and Laura Conway in Peach Orchard, Arkansas. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and growing tomatoes. Most of all she enjoyed time spent with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Laura and Jack Conway; a sister Jackie Prine; and a brother Charles Conway.
She is survived by her husband James B. Bumpous; one son James "Pete" Bumpous; three daughters: Sandy Hightower, Donna McIntosh, and Cathy Nguyen; two brothers Jerry Conway and Roger Conway; three sisters: Peggy Petago, Mary Hearren, and Jean Pence; seven grandchildren: Michael Hightower, Amy Collins, Jason Collins, Kevin Nguyen, Angel Nguyen, Maeghan Bumpous, and Cody Bumpous; five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and dear friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday June 26th at 1PM at the Nguyen Residence located at 159 Edger Road Batesville, AR 72501. For further information please contact 870-307-1825.
