Stella Gay Obituary
Stella Ruth Gay passed from this life on October 22, 2015. She was born on January 8, 1936 as the daughter of Joseph B. Ruyle and Geneva Marie (Hughes) Ruyle. She attended the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Batesville. She was retired from White Rodgers after 38 years of service. She loved reading, crocheting, and watching Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud, and Blake Shelton on the Voice.
She is survived by two sons: Andrew Gay and Phillip Gay; two daughters: Betty Ruth Robbins and Lynda Gayle Grissom; six brothers: Joseph Ruyle, Jim Ruyle, Ed Ruyle, Jon Ruyle, Don Ruyle, and Mark Ruyle; four sisters: Pat Gay, Genell Carroll, Margie Stallings, and Dianna Rogers; 11 grandchildren, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son Charlie Don; one grandchild Justin Melton; and two sisters: Anna Richardson and Francis Conley.
Visitation will be held Friday October 23rd from 5:30-7:30pm at Willis Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1pm on Saturday October 24th at the St. Mary's Catholic Church with the interment following at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Floral, AR. Pallbearers will be: Joshua Melton, Jason Gay, Nick Gay, Matthew Turner, Blake Turner, Mitchell Turner, Dustin Robbins, Jerry Robbins, and Tommy Turner.
