Rebecca "Ginny" Virginia Osborn Ehret, 81, of Batesville went to Heaven Monday, April 28, 2014 in Searcy. She was born September 15, 1932 in Floral to Adam Osborn and Dorothy Miller Osborn. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Floral Baptist Church. She worked for the Home Health Care as a caretaker in Batesville for many years until she could no longer. She was a lifelong Avon representative of which she loved meeting and seeing people. She excelled in Avon, winning many awards, pins, and medals. She also cared for her children of which two were dependent on her. Her hobbies were gardening of plants and food, canning, and used to sew quite a bit. She was very active with her family members and with the community. She was loved by all.
Survivors include three sons, Steven R. Ehret of Thayer, MO, Michael J. Ehret and Robert D. Ehret both of Batesville; three daughters, Nikki J. Victor of San Lorenzo, CA, Deborah J. McKenzie of Evening Shade, Darlene R. Ehret of Batesville; one brother, Adam Osborn of Judsonia; two sisters, Valenia Sharp and Eva Baker both of Concord; eight grandchildren, Nathaniel Nicholson, Sonny Anderson, Stacey Anderson, Leanna Bacon, Scott Anderson, Brandon Gillihan, Chelsea Ehret, Jonathon Ehret; and seven great grandchildren, Crystal Nicholson, Joshua Nicholson, Liliana Anderson, Ithyca Bacon, Reagan Nicholson, Nicholas Bacon, and Lillium Ehret.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard John Ehret; two sisters, Orpha Northcutt and Glenda Allender; three brothers, Richard Osborn, Eldon Osborn, and Leroy Osborn.
Services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the Cedar Grove United Methodist Church in Floral with Mike Fowler officiating. Interment will be at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Floral. Pallbearers are Nathaniel Nicholson, Brandon Gillihan, Michael Bacon, Joshua Nicholson, Aaron McKenzie, and Shawn Sharp.
Visitation is from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 29, 2014.
