Minnie Lucille Stephens, 97, of Batesville AR. died on August 9, 2018 at White River Medical Center. She was born on January 11, 1921 in Sulpher Rock, AR. to Burt and Pearl Garner. She was a member of the Rheobeth Baptist Church of Moorefield, AR. She has lived for 97 years in Batesville, AR. She loved to crochet, garden, canning and loved to read books. She loved her family very much. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Phyllis Hobby and her husband George Watson also four brothers Dean, Carl, Lynn and Charles Garner.
She is survived by three daughters Anita Reynolds (Billy), Peggy Strohm (Rocky) and Linda Doyle (Larry). Also 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday from 12-2 p.m. at Rheobeth Baptist Church in Moorefield, AR. with Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Lee's Chapel Cemetery.
