Linda Herring Obituary
Linda Herring, 74, passed away January 17, 2017. She was born November 2, 1942 in Cord, Arkansas to Guy Gipson and Gaynell (Slayden) Gipson. She was a member of the Cord Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Guy and Gaynell Gipson; one brother Guy Jr. Gipson; and one sister Debra Doyle.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years Billy Herring; two sons Keith Herring and Mike Herring; four brothers: Woodrow Wilson Gipson, Larry Gipson, Kenny Gipson, and Denny Gipson; three sisters: Margaret Coffey, Janet Avery, and Darnell Cullum; three granddaughters: Kitiara Herring, Adison Herring, and Harley Herring; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be Friday, January 20th, 2017 for family starting at 12:30 PM and public 1-2 PM with the funeral service beginning at 2 PM both at the Cord Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Childers officiating. Interment will follow at the Hopewell Cemetery.
Pallbearers include: Adam Gipson, Ryan Gipson, Mark Gipson, Wayne Gipson, Ethan Weaver, Jeff Weaver.
Honorary Pallbearers include: Levon James, Chuck Gipson, Marcus Herring, Shane Wood, Les Thomas, David Coffey, Ricky Coffey, and Jerry Coffey.
Arrangements by Willis Funeral Service.
