Juanita Elizabeth Medley

Juanita Elizabeth Medley, 88, of Batesville went to be with the Lord on August 15, 2016. She was born November 8, 1927 to Henry Roberts and Pearl (Chinn) Roberts. She was a former employee of White Rodgers in Batesville and thought a lot of her White Rodgers family. She was a Christian believer and loved to quilt, bake cakes and make homemade candy. She enjoyed telling stories and visiting with people. Most of all she enjoyed time spent with her family and taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Pearl Roberts; her husband Hayden Medley; a son Jerry Medley; two sisters Finaitta Story and Nellie Barnett; two brothers Kenneth Roberts and Billy Wayne Roberts; and a great grandson River Medley.
She is survived by two sons William "Bill" H. Medley of Newport and Bruce Medley and his wife Ruth of Batesville; one brother Marcus Roberts and his wife Betty of Newark; another sister-in-law Betty Roberts of Newark; seven grandchildren: Melissa Mansfield, Jason Medley, Jeremy Medley, Jamie Medley, Richard Wiltrout, Audie Medley, and Kerry Medley all of Batesville; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be Thursday August 18th from 5-7 PM and the funeral service will be Friday August 19th at 10:00 AM both at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Jerry Floyd officiating. Interment will follow at the Chinn Springs Cemetery.
