Joey Clark,43, of Cave City passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 in Batesville. He was born September 30, 1971 in Harrisburg to Robert Clark and Rebber Parnell Clark. He previously served as a deputy sheriff with the Independence County Sheriff's Office, was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, loved guns, playing PlayStation 4/computer games, specifically War Hammer. Joey was a founding member of WAR, loved animals/his pets and was a history/military buff.
Survivors include his parents, Robert and Rebber Clark of Harrisburg; his wife Kimisue Hipp of Cave City; one daughter, Haley Kenzie Clark of Charlotte; two sisters, Mary Carter and her husband, Mike, of Sulphur Rock and Rebecca Close of Harrisburg; one half sister, Crystal Taylor of Jonesboro; and his grandmother, Ada Clark.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bruce and Sarah Parnell and Hubert Clark.
Memorial Services will be 6:00 P.M., Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Lee Bland officiating. Honorary pallbearers are all deputies of the Independence County Sheriff's office; John Corbett, Stacey Allen and Roger Williams.
