Issac Franks Obituary
Issac Paul Franks, 71, of Batesville passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 in Batesville. He was born April 29, 1943 in Batesville to Lemuel Franks and Sue Roark Franks. He was a school bus driver and a fire-fighter. He enjoyed fishing and picking on his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Lois Franks, of the home; his son, Michael Franks of Batesville; three brothers, Bill Franks, Charlie Franks, and Jessie Franks all of Batesville; his two sisters, Sandy Lawerence and Mary Sue Enoch of Batesville; a special brother-in-law, Clarence Lawerence of Batesville; his six grandchildren, Cody Franks, Ashleigh Franks, Kyler Franks, Trace Franks, Colton Qualls and Tanner Perkey; and his two best friends Kim Benton and Mandy Franks of Batesville.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Chris Franks and Carl Franks; two brothers, Hershel Franks and Bobby Franks; his nephew, Darrell Franks; and his mother-in-law, Daisy Harris.
Services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church with Larry Sellers officiating. Interment will be at Campground Cemetery at Bethesda. Pallbearers are Shawn Hastings, Jeffrey Baxter, John Tucker, Tony Younger, Andy Denham, Chris Stewart, and Cody Franks. Honorary Pallbearers are the Ruddell Hill Fire Department, Kyler Franks, Trace Franks, Colton Qualls, and Tanner Perkey.
Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 21, 2014.
