Debra Hubbs Obituary

Debra "Kay" (Nichols) Hubbs, 65, passed away Sunday, September 3rd, 2017. She was born July 27th, 1952 in Harrisburg, Arkansas. She was a Christian believer. She enjoyed gardening especially her flowers, she loved animals and had rescued several pets as strays, she was an excellent cook, and she loved being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her mother and stepfather, Bebe and Bill Greenwood; one brother, Gary Dale Nichols; two grandchildren, Faith and Lucas Bruner; and one nephew Jordan Dunn.
She is survived by her father and step-mother, C.R. and Ouida Nichols of Lepanto, Arkansas; her husband, Ronald Hubbs; one son, Wesley Evans and his wife Allison of Batesville; two daughters, Andrea Bruner and her husband Gary of Batesville and Sara Bobbitt and Matt Keturoskey of Mountain Home; one step-son, Ronnie Hubbs Jr. and his wife Sajjal of Portland, Oregon; one step-daughter, Jeannie Heafner and her spouse Jess of Webster Groves, Missouri; one brother, Ray Nichols and his wife Jeanette of Cooter, Missouri; two sisters, Jeanette Dunn and her husband Kirk of Jonesboro and Vikki Hein and her husband Emmo of Memphis, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Avery Bobbitt, Abby Bobbitt, Mason Evans, Logan Evans, and Kaylee Bruner; three step-grandchildren, Tyler Hubbs, Kellen Hubbs, and William Heafner; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, September 8th from 12 PM - 2PM with the funeral service beginning at 2 PM both at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Stacy Reed officiating. Burial will follow at the Liberty Cemetery of the Gainsboro Community.
Pallbearers include, Avery Bobbitt, Jeremy Nichols, Scott Nichols, Daniel Nichols, Nick Hein, and Ed Brooks.
Honorary Pallbearer is Justin Dunn.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Debra to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
