Clara Belle Byler, 84, passed away January 21st, 2017 at the White River Medical Center. She was born April 8th 1932 to Thurman Pete Ford and Ona (Bice) Ford. She retired from Montgomery Ward Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Blue Summit Baptist Church. She liked to do word puzzles, and she enjoyed working with her flowers. She liked to color and won awards for her coloring ability.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thurman and Ona Ford; her husband Gene Byler; her son Kerry McLeod; and one brother Billy Pete Ford.
She is survived by two sons Perry McLeod and his wife Connie, and Steve McLeod and his wife Nancy; two brothers James Ford and Thurman Jr. Ford; one sister Mary Etta Riley; six grandchildren: Steve Tom McLeod, Jessica Clayton, Caseye Brandt, Dustin McLeod, Angel Stahlman, and Randy Downs; 14 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and special friends.
Visitation will be Friday, January 27th, 2017 from 5-7 PM and the funeral service will be Saturday, January 28th, 2017 at 10 AM both at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery.
