Carol Slatter-Cartwright,70, of Mount Pleasant passed away February 25, 2014, in Batesville. She was born January 7, 1944 in Levelland, TX to Jack Slatter and Juanita Simmons Slatter. She was a homemaker and a Christian. Carol lived her life full of laughs, love, and friendship. She served many roles in this life; wife, aunt, niece, friend, and most importantly mother and grandmother (Mimi). Along the road she met many people, shared in many fun adventures and built a life that would make anyone proud to have lived. Thanks to the salvation through Jesus Christ, she has shed this earthy vessel and been made anew. As a Christian woman, she spread God's love through her actions and words. We are thankful for her spreading the gospel of truth to us. We know we will see her again one day and that gives us all the strength to carry on. We love you and miss you Mom, can't wait to see you again. With all our love, your three boys,
Rick, Mark, & Todd McElmurry
