Bryce Ryan Humbrecht, 44, passed away July 3rd, 2017. He was born July 16th, 1972 in Batesville Arkansas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Batesville. He was actively involved in ministering to the youth at the Juvenile Detention Center in Batesville, he regularly gave his testimony at DWI court graduations in Independence and Sharp Counties, he ministered to youth every Friday night during Celebrate Recovery at Believers Community Church, he taught and mentored students in the youth program at First Baptist Church, and he had been on several mission trips with the church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
He is survived by his mother Donna Wyatt; his father Paul Humbrecht and his wife Connie; one daughter Shanna Smith and her husband Kevin; three brothers, Bryan Humbrecht and his wife Nellie, Blake Humbrecht, Chris Mohlke; two sisters, Katelynn Humbrecht and Shauna Mohlke-Hill; three grandchildren, Kayden Bryce, Emma Jade, and soon to be Sophia; niece Emily Humbrecht Watson; nephew Cody England; and a host of other relatives, church family, and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 6th from 5-7 PM at First Baptist Church, Batesville. Funeral service will be Friday, July 7th at 10 AM at First Baptist Church with Bro. Stacy Reed officiating.
Burial will follow at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Sidney, Arkansas.
Pallbearers: Russell Moore, Lewis Hirschy, Ron Lowery, Mark Davis, Kevin Shaw, Ryan Richardson
Honorary Pallbearers: Paul Humbrecht, Brian Humbrecht, Blake Humbrecht, Kevin Smith, and Jim Kilgore.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Batesville, to purchase Bibles for the Juvenile Detention Center ministry.
