Myrtle A Nichols, 73, of Batesville, passed away Wed. Dec. 12, 2018. She was born March 2, 1945, in Cooper, Texas, to Ollie Issac and Gertrude Lou (Wilson) Thompson. She was a wife of a Assembly of God minister for more than forty years. She retired from the Medical Park Orthopedic Clinic as a billing clerk. She loved shopping but most of all she loved her family, from her children all the way down to the great-grandchildren. Mrytle is with our precious Lord now and her lovely husband "Weldon". Your family and friends will always love you and miss you. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Weldon T. Nichols; sisters, Jean George, Ruth Ennis, Lilly Mae Thompson; brothers, Johnny, Robert, Billy Don (BD) and Ronnie Thompson; special nephew, Shane Quinn; great nephew, Brandon Thompson; great grand babies. She is survived by her son, Weldon Ray Nichols, daughter, Sheila Ann Woodard; brother, Ricky Thompson; sisters, Joyce Oster and Jessie Sawnson; grandchildren, Britney Nichols, Jared Merriman, Corey Nichols, Megan Moser, Russell Blake Merriman; great grandchildren, Brayden Moser, Hayden Cluck, Aiden Cluck, Camden Nichols, Landon Moser, Gabriel Nichols, Annabel Cluck. There will be a visitation Friday Dec. 14, 2018 5-7 p.m. at Willis Funeral Service. Funeral service will be Sat. Dec. 15, 2018 10 a.m. At Assembly of God Church in Pleasant Plains with Ched Carpenter officiating. Interment Kyler Cemetery.
