Jamie Paulette Burns, 65, of Batesville, passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2018. She was born on April 13, 1953, to Leonard and Opal (Armstrong) Croslin in Batesville, Ar. Polly never judged anyone and was fair to every one she met. She loved to cook and was known for her famous "cat head" biscuits. Playing the slot machines brought joy to her but her real love was the grandchildren. They would bring a smile to her face every time. Polly and her wonderful cooking will be missed by her precious family and all the friends that loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Opal Croslin; husband, Lloyd Burns; son, Johnny Burns; sister, Mary Wisdom; brothers, Danny, Dalton and Billy Croslin. She was survived by two sons, Eddie Burns (Angie), Jason Burns (Crystal); daughter, Brooke Burns (Kevin); two brothers, David and Jerry Croslin; three sisters, Shirley Burns, Floyce Wyatts, Vickie Eaton; grandchildren, Jaime, Justin, Joe, James, Devin, Donathan, Dilynn, Hollie, Aiden and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Mon. Oct 1, 2018 5-7 p.m. at Willis Funeral Service 3513 Harrison St. Batesville, Ar. Funeral Service will be Tue. Oct 2, 2018, 2 p.m. at Willis Funeral Service with Bro. Ira Brokaw officiating. Interment Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Cushman, Ar.
