Gayle Collier Obituary

Gayle H. Collier, 83 died on May 1, 2019. He was born on December 16, 1935 to Earl and Gladys Collier in Vernon, Texas. He was a member of the Harrison Street Church Of Christ of Batesville. He loved woodworking, and collecting cars. He was a resident of Batesville for 47 years. He retired from the oil company  in Texas after 31 years of service and also 31 years of service while owning Car Connection Automobile of Batesville. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and Air Force Reserves.He was preceded in death by  his father and mother, 4 brothers and one sister. Also one grandson Teran Collier in 2018.

He is survived by his wife Carol Collier, sons Tony (Lisa) Collier of Batesville, Arkansas and Rick (Denise) Collier of Harrison, Arkansas. One brother Donald Collier of Houston, Texas, sister Dollye Scott of Houston, Texas  and grandchildren Justin (Ginger) Collier and Kendra Collier both of Batesville, Arkansas , Karissa Collier and Katy Beth Collier both of Harrison, Arkansas.

Visitation will be Saturday May 4, 2019 from 1-3 p.m. with funeral service at 3:00 p.m. both at Harrison  Street Church of Christ of Batesville, Arkansas. Burial will be at Oak lawn Cemetery of Batesville. Willis Funeral Service of Batesville in charge of the arrangements.
