Edith Maxine Williams, 91, of Cave City, passed away Monday July 15, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. Edith absolutely loved and treasured her family. She has 11 children and truly so many grandchildren that its hard to count. She loved when her family got together for holidays or special occasions so she could cook and provide for them. She also enjoyed country music and country gospel.
Edith is preceded in death by both of her parents, her late husband Roy B. Williams, two brothers: Bob and Jewel McBride, three sisters, and two grandsons: Charles Adam Reynolds and Ronald Vernon Curtis (United States Marine Corp).
Edith is survived by 7 sons: Gene McBride, Russell (Teresa) McBride, Bill (Kathy) Champ, Jerry Williams, Johnny Williams, Tommy (Billie Kay) Williams, and Roy (Dorris) Williams, 4 daughters: Sheila Coffman, Kathy (Ronald) Curtis, Becky (Phillip) Gibson, and Marsha Burnett, one brother, Don McBride, one sister, Peggy McBride, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville. There will be a visitation Wednesday July 17 from 5-8 PM with the funeral service Thursday July 18 at 2 PM, both will be at Cave Creek Church of God on Cave Creek Road just off Weavers Chapel north of Batesville, AR. Burial will be at Parsley Cemetery in Cave City, AR
