David Simpson

David Simpson, 61, of Little Rock, AR passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019. He was born February 16, 1957 in Memphis, TN. After spending his early years there, he found himself in Batesville where he made his mark as a Dental Sales Representative at Pro Dentec. He put his natural gift of being a “people person” to use there, traveling all over the United States, meeting people through work that would become personal friends, keeping up with him even to this day. That’s the type of impact David made on the people he met. He loved sports and his family, even merging his passion for the two as he coached his sons youth baseball team. He was known as a kind, loyal, and generous husband, father, and friend, or “pops” as his grandchildren call him. He is preceded in death by his parents David and Francis Hazel Simpson, and his brother Danny Simpson. He is survived by his son Ross Simpson and daughter Lynnsey Baird and husband Marvin, and two grandchildren, Bennett and Brooks Baird, and his girlfriend Dale Anne McClellan. A celebration of life will be at the North Complex Baseball Field in Batesville, AR at 2PM Tuesday February 19, 2019, in lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to www.nottodaybraincancer.org/donate
