Peggy Ann Creel

Peggy Ann Creel, 65, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024, in Jonesboro, AR. She was born on January 21, 1958, in Newport, AR to the late Amos J. C. Miller and Wanda Lee (Wallis) Miller. Peggy liked animals, especially her dogs, cooking, coffee, and spending time outside. She loved the Lord and spent a lot of her time reading her Bible, which she had read completely through five times. Peggy always tithed faithfully and enjoyed watching the SBN channel on TV. Above all else, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Peggy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed by all those blessed to know her.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Huckabee (Greg); stepson, Benjamin Creel; grandchildren, Briana Smith (Sheldon), Bryson Huckabee (Brandy), Tyler Huckabee (Sydney), Donovan Smith (Lexi), Brett Beshears, Jordan Payne, and Kelby Payne; great-grandchildren, Oliver Payne, Aiden Huckabee, Maislee Huckabee, Mason Huckabee, Adalyn Smith, Michael Payne, Sabrina Payne, Sebastian Payne, Jade Payne, Jordyn Payne, Raeleigh Payne, Bentley Payne, and Paityn Payne; sisters, Dean Reeves (Bill) and Sharon Hicks; numerous nieces and nephews; and several other extended family members. She is preceded in death by her father, Amos J. C. Miller; mother, Wanda Terry; stepdad, Frankie Terry; and sisters, Mary Miller and Brenda Woodard.

There will be a visitation held at Concord Missionary Baptist Church on Friday, January 19, 2024, starting at 12 PM. The funeral service, officiated by Brother Chris Garrett, will follow at 2 PM. Interment will be at Old Union Cemetery in Floral, AR. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Bill Reeves, Bryson Huckabee, Donovan Smith, Brett Beshears, Tyler Huckabee, and Sheldon Peebles. Honorary pallbearers are Patrick Ballard, Kenny Sade, and Addison McGee.
