Brandon Shawn Hooten, 36, of Batesville, died on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. He was born on July 13, 1987, in Redlands, California, to Tony Hooten and the late Jamie Deanna Bock. Brandon loved animals of all types. He loved gaming, especially the game Dungeons and Dragons, and he also enjoyed watching Hockey and cheering on his favorite team, the San Jose Sharks.

Brandon is preceded in death by his mother, Jamie Deanna Bock; his grandparents, Rollie and Janice Bock, and his aunt, Rachelle Diane Bock. He is survived by his wife, Crystal Hooten; his father, Tony Hooten; his daughter, Hazel Hooten; his stepdaughter, Aya Barrett; his brother, Justin Hooten; and several extended family members and friends.
