Vandyne May Obituary


Vandyne Davis May, 81 passed away January 16, 2016. She was born March 15, 1934 in Salado, Arkansas to Nelse Wilbur Davis and Ruby Ellen Hart Davis. Married to Owen Leon May on October 15, 1954 in Batesville, Arkansas. She was an active member of the Southside Church of Christ. She loved being mom to her children, she loved animals, and helping with church activities.
She is survived by 4 children, Barbara Stacy and her husband John of Pleasant Plains, Mark May and his wife Anna of Salado, Steven May of Salado and Ricky May and his wife Schellie of Salado; 6 six grandchildren, Micah Reynolds and his wife Nora of Beebe, Shawna Gay and her husband Brandon of Southside, Kayla Barber of Salado, Renee Driver and her husband Randy of Georgia, Bobby Defoor of Quitman, and TJ Stacy and his wife Carrie of Fort Smith; 3 great-grandchildren, Jayden Reynolds of Beebe, Carys Stacy of Fort Smith, Christopher Defoor of Quitman, and a special Aunt, Billie Clinkingbeard and her husband Jim of Calico Rock.
She was preceded in death by her parents Nelse Wilbur Davis and Ruby Ellen Hart Davis.
Pallbearers will be: Chip Phillips, Wylie Phillip, Robert Foster, Dwayne Milligan, Gary Hardin, and Gary Bridgeman.
Visitation is Tuesday January 19th at 5-7 p.m. at Willis Funeral Services Chapel. Funeral Service is Wednesday January 20th at 10:00 a.m. at Southside Church of Christ.
