Thurlow Freeze

Thurlow Freeze, 91, of Desha Arkansas went to be with his Lord and loved ones on Wednesday March 2, 2016. Thurlow was born on January 31, 1925 in Pawnee, Texas to Junius Freeze and Irene Franklin Freeze. Thurlow was a self employed carpet installer for over 50 years. He was well known for his generous soul, kind heart, and loving spirit. He will be missed by many. Thurlow was a member and song leader at the Marcella Church of Christ.
He is survived by his family, Cassy Sutton Murray, Rocky Sutton and his wife Laura, Rhonda Sutton Taylor and her husband Wesley, Rebekah Taylor, Jessica Sutton, Halli Taylor, Emily Fike and her husband Tad, William Sutton, Darcy Taylor, and Jett Fike; one brother, Bill Freeze of Locust Grove, Arkansas and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by special friends, Jeff Newman, Dalton Newman, Levi Newman, and Shannon Jordan.
He was preceded in death by his parents Junious Leo Freeze and Irene Franklin Freeze, Don Sutton, Sandra Sutton Smith, Randall Sutton, a special nephew Johnny Reves, his brothers: Emmett Freeze, Lawrence Freeze, Benny Freeze, and Kenneth Freeze, and a sister Avis Freeze Gray.
Visitation will be Friday March 4, from 5-7 PM at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel. A graveside funeral service will be Saturday March 5 with Bro. Lynn Smith officiating, at the Cove Cemetery on Hwy. 5 South in Mountain View.
Honorary Pallbearers include: Benny (Chief) Freeze, Scotty Freeze, Kenny Freeze, Erin Ray Davis, Billy Sutton, Don Ferguson, and Lenny Gillmore.
