Pansy Waldrip Obituary
Pansy (Jones) Waldrip, 81, passed away April 26, 2017. She was born January 24, 1936 in Okeene, Oklahoma to George Albert Severn and Winnie (Wells) Severn. She was a member of the Floral Baptist Church of Floral, Arkansas. She had served as a past matron of Ruth #91 Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Albert and Winnie Severn; two brothers, Andrew Brightman and Harvey Severn; two sisters, Lenora Mannings and Julia Severn; one grandson, Jason Jones; her husband, J.D. Jones; and her second husband, Luther Waldrip.
She is survived by three sons, Steve Jones and his wife Debbie of Floral, George Jones of Camden, and Jimmy Jones and his wife Patricia of Searcy; one brother Frank Severn of Decatur; one sister Francis Long of Gentry; three grandchildren, Stephanie Roberts, Angela Riley, and Taylor Jones; two great-grandchildren, Grant Roberts and Allison Riley; and a host of nieces and nephews, members of Floral Baptist Church, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, April 28th from 6-8 PM at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville. Funeral service will be Saturday, April 29th at 10 AM at Floral Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Fowler officiating. Graveside committal service will be at Falling Springs Cemetery near Decatur at 5 PM.
Honorary Pallbearers include: Kevin Moore, Charles Langston, Grant Roberts, and Chris Riley.
