Norma Jean Candler, 72, passed away February 29, 2016. She was born to the late O.W. King and Martha Speck on July 7, 1943. She was an active member at the Believer's Community Church, she enjoyed yard sales, and she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents O.W. King and Martha Speck and her grandson, Kelly Glenn Gillean.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, David Candler; her two daughters, Jo Long of Batesville and Pam Gillean and her husband Richard of Pfeifer ; one brother, Corky King and his wife Diane of Sarah, Mississippi.; two sisters Judy Oliver and her husband Charlie of Jackson Tennessee, and Susie Mills also of Jackson Tennessee; four grandchildren Heather Riggs of Batesville, Sean Gillean of Batesville, Clay Long of Jonesboro, and Josh Gillean of Mountain Home; and two great-grandchildren Kaylee Riggs and Landon Riggs, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation is at Willis Funeral Service Thursday, March 3, 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Funeral Service is at Believer's Community Church Friday, March 4, 10:00 A.M with Bro. David Insell officiating. Interment will follow at the Egner Cemetery of Salado.
Pallbearers include: Sean Gillean, Clay Long, Josh Gillean, Brent Riggs, Buddy Branscum, and Tim Branscum.
