Lanny Joe Means, 67, passed away September 20, 2016. He was born March 8, 1949 to Oscar Edward Means and Eva Marie Brokaw in Hanford, California. He loved collecting and most of all he loved time spent with his children.
He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Means; a son, Brian Means; a brother Edward Gail Means; and a great granddaughter, Kensli Hipp.
He is survived by his mother Eva Brokow; his wife of 50 years and five months Sharon Means; two sons, Joseph Edward Means and Darrin Philip Means; two daughters, Ann Lingenfelter and Dor-Lisa Butler; two half-brothers, Jeff Means and Jason Means; five sisters, Patricia St. John, Dorothy Foster, Debra Thomas, Karen Isley, and Laura Brokow; twelve grandchildren: Patrick Lingenfelter, Dakota Keith Butler, Peyton Martin, Tyler Brewer, Joseph Garrett Means, Wyatt Means, Samantha Butler, Brett Butler, Nichole Means, Katelyn Means, Hannah Means, and Darrin Means Jr.; two great grandchildren Laithe Martin and Liam Martin; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
