Jacqueline Vaughan Obituary

Jacqueline H. Vaughan, 80, of Southside, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 2, 2013. She was born March 8, 1933 in Floral to Earl E. and Edna (Lawrence) Altom. She was of the Christian faith and a longtime member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Southside.
She loved her family and enjoyed getting everyone together for special occasions.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Venoy Vaughan and one infant brother.

Survivors include two daughters, Paula Hagan and her husband Don of Southside and Kim England and her husband Bobby of Southside, one brother Kenneth Altom and his wife Freda of Southside, one sister, Ernestine Huckaba of Southside, two grandsons, Heath Vaughan and his wife Mandy of Southside, Scott Rushing and his wife Krystal of Camden Point, MO, four great grandchildren, Tyler and Kelsey Rushing of Camden Point, MO, Haley Gardner of Southside, Gannon Bailey of Southside, one niece, Donna Gay of Pleasant Plains, one nephew, Greg Altom of Southside, and many other relatives and friends.

Services will be Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Bro. Bob Dailey officiating. Interment will follow in the Kyler Cemetery at Southside. Pallbearers are Greg Altom, Ricky Altom, Hairl Anderson, John Ramsey, Tyler Rushing and Billy Wayne Scroggins. Honorary Pallbearers are Heath Vaughan, Scott Rushing and Charles McCluskey.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 5 from 5 to 7 P.M.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 149 Rorie Street Batesville, AR 72501.
